Moombahton
Moombahton music is a fusion of house music and reggeaton which was created by an American Dj and producer Dave Nada.

Musically it shares the rhythmic origins with dutch house and electro house. Its features are thick basslines, dramatic buildups, a two-step pulse and quick drum fills.

Moombahton was created by Dave Nada in late 2009 while DJing his cousin's highschool cut party in Washington D.C.He mixed  house and club music he had planned to play  by slowing down Afrojack's remix of Silvio Ecomo and  Chuckie's song "Moombah".

Here is Dave Nada's remix of Afrojack's song which i found on youtube.

The first dubstep records

In Croydon, south London, there was a shop called Big Apple Records that acted as a hub for people into all sorts of bass-led music. Above this shop was a recording studio where Magnetic man, benga and skream. These artists made some of the first dubstep records. The  Big Apple was a bit like a bass university. And through Benga and Skream the dubstep sound was brought to life.
